Car-Free Sunday at the Gallery

Singapore, 24 Feb 2016

Car-Free Sunday will be taking place on 28 February 2016.

In support of the event we are offering a complimentary bicycle valet service for cyclists to park their bicycles for free at our carpark from 7am to 12pm. No cars will be allowed to enter the carpark during this period.

National Gallery Singapore will be open an hour earlier (9am), and will offer three free Outdoor Building Highlights Tour at 9.30am (English), 9.45am (English) and 10am (Mandarin) in addition to our usual daily tours. Meeting point for the Outdoor Building Highlights Tours is 10 minutes before start time at Padang Atrium Entrance, Level 1. Tours are 1 hour long, with 30 slots available per tour on a first come, first served basis. In the event of rain, these tours will be conducted in the Gallery.

The Padang Café and Gallery & Co. will be open at 8am and 9am respectively for breakfast.

Please note there will be road closures in the vicinity from 7am to 12pm. Cars will be allowed to enter the carpark again from 12pm.

National Gallery Singapore is a new visual arts institution which oversees the largest public collection of modern art of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
