SYNOPSIS
The Neglected Dimension explores the period from the 1960s onwards when calligraphy and abstraction became prominent modes of artistic production in Islamic art in Indonesia. Explore a range of modern Islamic artistic expressions, from the early pioneers of Indonesian abstract art to explorations with new mediums and contemporary performance art.
