Homes: Present and Future, 2015 – 2016
For 2015–2016, the Centre collaborates with four artists to create unique presentations inspired by their fantastical ideas and personal stories of what "home" means to each of them.
The idea of "home" is deeply personal. It is vested with emotional meaning and memories. As such, "home" can hold a different meaning for each of us. Some artists compare the search for home to an open-ended adventure. Others think about "homes" in relationship to Nature, and search for a utopian living arrangement.
By stimulating the imagination and creativity of our visitors from an early age, the Centre aims to nuture and inspire generations of creative and critical thinkers, who take an active interest in art and learn to make connections between art and everyday life.
