Explore Rirkrit Tiravanija’s untitled 2018 (the infinite dimension of smallness), then take part in a reinterpretation of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony within the installation. Incorporating elements of happenings and dance, it invites audiences to take a moment to share in knowledge and emotions with others.
ABOUT MAI UEDA
Ueda rediscovered her Japanese roots in 2012 through Zen and the tradition of tea ceremonies, which have since become central to her artistic practice. She makes use of these ceremonies to reflect on globalisation, and bring people together to share knowledge in fresh and innovative ways.
