According to an ancient legend, seven celestial sisters once descended to Earth for a bath. However, the youngest sister did not return to the heavens. What happened to her? Find out in this storytelling session by master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran, inspired by Patrick Ng Kah Onn's painting Membasoh Kain Di Tepi Sungai.

About Family Weekends
Every first and second weekend of the month, enjoy fun-filled family programmes that use the Gallery’s exhibitions as a springboard to introduce young people to art. Designed in collaboration with artists and art practitioners, these programmes offer interactive and educational experiences to awaken natural curiosities and stretch imaginations to a whole new level!
Stories in Art takes place every second Saturday and Sunday at 2.30–3.15pm and 3.30–4.15pm. Each month, master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran of MoonShadow Stories tells folktales inspired by different artworks in the Gallery.
