The Gallery’s 10th anniversary celebrations begin on a sweet note—because what's a birthday without cake? With a small donation to support the Gallery, visitors can enjoy cake (until 11am or while stocks last) and be among the first to join in the celebrations. In partnership with hospitality chains, established and new bakeries, this celebration is a tasty tribute to the Gallery’s role as a space for art, community, and shared joy over the past decade. Each ticket entitles guests to one takeout box to fill with cakes of their choice, along with one bottled beverage.

A beloved Singaporean childhood favourite, the MILO Van makes a special stop at the Gallery’s 10th Birthday Bash. Visitors can cool off with a complimentary cup of the chocolatey drink at the iconic green truck, savouring a sweet taste of nostalgia while enjoying the celebrations.

At Artsplaining, Liu Ling Ling brings her candid and spirited voice to the Gallery, offering humorous and unexpected takes on art through the lens of an entertainer who has spent her life engaging audiences from all walks of life. Paired with Gallery staff, this tour blends entertainment with insight and will be conducted in Mandarin.

Adding to the celebrations is an Old Chang Kee food truck serving up its signature golden curry puffs and beloved local snacks, familiar and unmistakable flavours of Singapore’s hawker heritage.

To celebrate the presentation of Art Labor’s most ambitious art installation to date, Angin Cloud, join us for special journey by the artists’ collaborators, musicians from the Jrai community. Led by the esteemed Jrai musician Rcham Teh, the musicians will be playing traditional wooden Jrai wooden instruments. These instruments are similar objects to the Jrai sculptures that have been included in Angin Cloud’s year-long installation.

At Artsplaining, Shazza brings her fresh, unfiltered perspective to the Gallery, pairing her artistic instincts with a curiosity for visual art. Paired with Gallery staff, this session will feel conversational, grounded, and infused with the creativity of one of Singapore’s most exciting young talents.

Catch the golden hour with live music at Sunset Sessions, a one-night-only performance by local band HEjiRA from 6.15pm to 8.15pm. Against the backdrop of the setting sun, audiences can unwind to music that celebrates transitions, new beginnings, and the joy of coming together in the heart of the city.

Because grown-ups deserve to play too! For one night only, the Keppel Centre for Art Education transforms into an after-hours playground for adults. Step into the immersive installations, let loose to a live DJ set as you rediscover art, creativity, and the joy of childlike wonder.

Sketch Chapter celebrates the Gallery’s heritage architecture through accessible sketching sessions in the Rotunda Library and Supreme Court Terrace. Presented with NAFA's Centre of Lifelong Learning, the programme blends guidance with free sketching time in the Gallery’s iconic spaces. This pilot edition is a three-hour session — starting with an introduction to basic techniques, followed by open sketching.

At Artsplaining, Kishan brings his distinctive voice to the Gallery, offering playful and thought-provoking perspectives on art in a way that feels down-to-earth, entertaining, and instantly relatable. Paired with Gallery staff, expect an unexpected take on the Gallery to celebrate our 10th birthday bash.

In this unguided edition of Sketch Chapter, participants are invited to slow down, observe, and sketch freely across the Gallery’s public spaces. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or simply curious to try your hand at drawing, this is your chance to see the Gallery from a new creative perspective. Sketch materials can be picked up at the counter outside the UOB Discovery Space – then let your imagination take the lead.

This pop-up music experience turns the Gallery into a cultural playground – where art, music, movement, and matcha culture collide. Expect bold beats, good vibes, and Southeast Asian sounds across genres, with a curated DJ lineup spinning all afternoon.
