Scope and Content
In her letter to Pauline Chen, Georgette Chen updates her on her current situation. She mentions a surprise visit from Mr. and Mrs. Leong Yew Koh and being invited to lunch with Tunku Abdul Rahman, describing her preparations for the event. Georgette also mentions her acquaintance with the Tunku since 1930 and his agreement to pose for a portrait to be commissioned by MCA. Additionally, she mentions meeting with Straits Times reporter Mrs. Nan Hall regarding her portrait of Dr. Ho and Mr. Mori. Georgette also mentions experiencing pain in her knees and provides updates on the building progress of her bungalow.
