Scope and Content
In her letter to friends Pauline Chen and Chen Fah-Shin, Georgette Chen mentions that she has painted two new paintings for the upcoming British Council Malayan artists exhibition. She also shares that she was visited by Mrs. Fung, the pianist, and her Dutch student who commissioned a portrait of Mrs. Fung and showed interest in several other pieces of her work. Georgette mentions lunching with Mrs. Lee Seng Gee and knowing all the 13 sons of Eu Tong Sen. She asks Pauline to write to Lee Rubber Co. about a project and mentions that Mrs. Lee would also bring it up to her husband.
