- Scope and Content
- In her letter to Pauline Chen and Chen Fah-Shin, Georgette Chen mentions she was tempted but could not leave for Kuala Lumpur immediately as she had a portrait to paint. She shares that she has completed the portrait of Mariana and that Mariana's sister, Willy (Wilhemina), also wishes to sit for a portrait. Georgette hopes that Fah-Shin and his family can come to Singapore so she can complete the family portrait without changing the décor or moving the easel. She also suggests they attend Mrs. Paul Fung’s piano recital.
