Scope and Content
In her letter to Pauline Chen, Georgette Chen shares that she has finished Mrs. Paul Fung’s portrait and hosted a dinner for the Fungs, who showed interest in purchasing her artwork. She mentions mutual acquaintances such as Mrs. Wong, Mrs. Loh, Mr. Khong, Mr. and Mrs. Pang. Georgette provides updates on the construction progress of her house, expressing hope to move in within four months. She mentions negotiating a loan of $7000 from the Colonial Federal Loan Society instead of the initially planned $5000.
