- In her letter to her stepmother, Georgette Chen discusses her upcoming move and mentions that her friends (possibly Pauline Chen and Chen Fah-Shin) are assisting her with the move before she joins them in Kuala Lumpur. She requests $2000 to pay the contractor, asking for this amount to be deducted from her stepmother’s next payment to her account. Georgette also asks for a few items that she cannot find locally: a toilet seat cover and a camera, as her old one was stolen in Penang.
