- Scope and Content
- In her letter, Georgette updates on her progress with Mrs. Loh's portrait, which faced delays due to scheduling conflicts and health issues but expresses admiration for Mrs. Loh's charm and beauty nonetheless. She plans to visit Kuala Lumpur during the winter holidays, which are a month long, to paint portraits for the Minister of Labour and Sir Roland Braddell. Georgette mentions her friend Mr. Yew Koh and the financial difficulties faced by Ho Yungchi, who is liquidating his property. She intends to prepare her will soon. Georgette also inquires about whether Pauline gave Mrs. Loomis the scroll from her and updates on the plants she brought back from their garden, which are growing well.
