Prominent recognition in the Gallery
Since moving to Singapore in 2016, I have found a home away from home at the National Gallery. I began as a volunteer docent and later became a patron with my husband, Ken. As museum lovers, we were drawn not only to the art but also to the community of people who value culture, learning, and shared experiences.
Donating is our way of supporting a place that has given us so much. We hope our contribution helps the Gallery share the stories of Singapore and Southeast Asia, preserving and celebrating this rich heritage for generations to come.
stART brings together our two lifelong passions: a belief in Education and a love of the Arts, and the transformative power of each. We support National Gallery Singapore as we believe the team has developed and delivered our vision through stART powerfully, and we will continue to support the Patrons Programme.
We first came to National Gallery with a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts; a passion for collecting; and a shared belief in the importance of the arts to a nation’s development and identity. National Gallery houses a formidable permanent collection of modern art from Singapore and Southeast Asia; stages well curated special exhibitions; and proudly delivers on its mission of community engagement and outreach in many meaningful ways. It is wonderful to see the public spaces full of life and people young and old.
