The Foundation made a gift to the National Gallery of Singapore because Mr Yong believes that Art is an area that can help improve the quality of our lives in subtle, yet powerful ways. It is a common language that transcends boundaries.
The Yong Hon Kong Foundation is thankful to be part of the movement to strengthen art consciousness in Singapore. I hope that more people will find it meaningful to gain deeper insights into our region’s art history via the iconic artworks displayed at the Gallery.
