- In her letter to Georgette Chen, Chang Yi Ming informs her that giving each of the children more than $3,000 a year would result in tax charges. She advises Georgette that if she needs urgent cash, she should consider selling her securities and closing her Chase Manhattan account. Yi Ming also mentions that she does not think she can manage a trip to Singapore due to financial and physical constraints.
