- Scope and Content
- In her letter to Pauline Chen, Georgette expresses her wish to visit but note that she needs to rest before starting a new medication and is unsure if the pain will return. She is considering the airport mural project but is currently busy preparing for her exhibition in Kuala Lumpur and wants to include more Malayan motifs. Georgette declines Pauline’s offer of money, as she will get it from the bank. She mentions that their mutual friend, Mrs. Fung, introduced Miss Loomis, another friend of Pauline’s and a missionary who enjoyed Georgette's rambutans and Dolly’s portrait in Penang. They chatted until dark. Georgette has also prepared a room for Pauline with the help of Mrs. Wong and has hung some pictures up as well.
