Scope and Content

Catalogue of the 5th National Art Exhibition, which marked the beginning of the fifth year of the National Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. "Fifty-four invited Malayan artists displayed 170 works, which comprised 159 paintings in various media and 11 sculptures. The show served as an "annual record of the progress and development of Malayan art".
