- Scope and Content
- In her letter to Georgette Chen, Chuang Yoeh Foong expresses gladness that Georgette has settled in Penang. She informs her that her belongings at Miao Sien’s place will remain there. She mentions that Rosamonde has shown interest in Georgette's piano, which was sent to a music store for retuning and restoration at a cost of $3600, paid by Rosamonde. While full repairs would exceed 1 million JMP, Rosamonde is willing to buy the piano. Yoeh Foong advises Georgette to sell it to Rosamonde at a suitable market price. She also mentions that former classmates Sieu Ya, Mei Lee, and Helen are all doing well.
