Trishaw Rider - Tactile Colour System
The Tactile Colour System (TCS) is a system that incorporates eight different tactile patterns to represent eight different colours. With the help of TCS, vision-impaired individuals can also understand the concept of colour. The experience of colour should not be exclusive to the sighted.
This is a colourful tactile drawing on white paper, with a hexagon of six colours represented by six different patterns on top, and three columns presenting patterns of eight colours below it. The left column shows three cool colours: green is represented by horizontal lines, blue is represented by wavy lines, and violet is represented by diagonal lines. The right column shows three warm colours: red is represented by a circle pattern, orange is represented by a diamond pattern, and yellow is represented by a triangle pattern. The middle column shows that grey is represented by a diagonal dotted-line pattern, and brown is represented by a criss-cross pattern.
