The tactile graphic depicts an open umbrella, its position allowing us to see it’s outer and inner structure.

Starting from the upper left corner, you will come across the canopy of the umbrella, which is shaped like a mushroom cap. Exploring along the top of the mushroom shape, you will feel a mixture of triangle and circle patterns, indicating that the surface of the umbrella is a combination of yellow and red. This suggests that prolonged exposure to the sun has bleached the fabric, and that the umbrella has provided shelter and shade for passengers for a long time.

Moving your fingers slightly downwards, you will find the inner structure of the umbrella and its ribs, which are dark brown. The thick straight line which extends to the lower left corner of the painting represents the umbrella shaft, which is connected to the passenger seat of the trishaw.

There is no clear indication of what this umbrella is made of. Could it be a bamboo umbrella or an ordinary metal and fabric umbrella?
