Become an Art Champ at Singapore’s First-Ever Art History Quiz Night!
Following the success of S24 – our one-night activation at a Geylang coffee shop in August 2024 – The Artists Village (TAV) and National Gallery Singapore are once again collaborating on another evening of fun, friendship and togetherness—this time, a Singapore Art History quiz!
Channelling the spirit of game shows, this quiz night held at a club on Selegie Road promises music, friendly competition and the celebration of the history of art in Singapore.
It will be fast-paced, it will be random, it will be fun, and you will learn (yes, unfortunately!) unexpected stories and uncover new ways of understanding art history beyond textbooks. This is the event of the year for art lovers, thrill-seekers, and anyone up for a showdown of knowledge and creativity!
You can:
· Sign up to compete in the quiz in teams of 5 and put your knowledge to the test.*
· Join as an audience member to cheer on the action (but why hang back—get in the fray!).**
* If you are signing up for the quiz, select “Quiz Contestants”. All Quiz Contestants will be sorted into groups of 5. If you would like to be teamed up with friends, do purchase tickets under the same name and we will do our best to assign you accordingly. We will be in touch to confirm your group members after ticket sales close 12pm on 4 March.
** If you wish only to watch the action (but why would you settle for that!), select “Cheerleaders (Audience)”.
