Parts of Gallery Children’s Biennale 2025 will be closed on 20 & 21 Jan 2026 for a private event. Fun activities will continue at selected art installations.

Ahead of the world premiere of Home to He(art) (2025) by Gözde Zehnder and Russel Zehnder, join curator Teo Hui Min for a walkthrough of Gallery 1 in Singapore Stories, where artworks by Chen Wen Hsi are on display.

About the Festival

Dedicated to the study and showcase of the moving image, Painting with Light is a film festival that presents artist films, documentaries on art, arthouse cinema and restored classics, which mark important moments in art history. The festival’s special focus on Southeast Asian artmaking is evident in a diverse selection of works from the region, including titles newly commissioned and restored by the Gallery, designed to create dialogue between the moving image art of Southeast Asia and the world.
