Our special exhibition, Ever Present: First Peoples Art of Australia, was on show at the Gallery earlier this year from 27 May to 25 September. A celebration of Aboriginal and Torrest Strait Islander art, life and culture, it was the largest exhibition of its kind to travel to Asia. It featured historical and contemporary works by over 150 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from across Australia, revealing the contributions they ahve made to the development of global and modern contemporart art.
