Words on Art: interlude
General Title
Written by poets across Singapore, India, and the United States, this collection of poetry is a collaboration between the Asian Literary Society and National Gallery Singapore. Each poet has chosen an artwork from the Gallery that resonated with them, translating their evoked emotions into words. From the beauty of life to the horrors of war, the ekphrastic poems explore themes of freedom, love, agony and change.
This volume is the fourth title in the Gallery's Words on Art series, which remains dedicated to examining intersections between visual and literary arts.
