The UOB Southeast Asia Gallery is temporarily closed and will reopen in late 2027. In the meantime, works from the National Collection remain exhibited across the Gallery. 

Crafting Tomorrow: Fabric Fun is a vibrant, hands-on children’s art workshop that introduces sustainability through creative reuse of textiles. Inspired by the eco-conscious art of a featured artist from the Gallery Children’s Biennale, young participants will explore the joy of upcycling while making meaningful art they can take home. Crafting Tomorrow: Fabric Fun invites children to imagine a more sustainable future — one fabric scrap at a time.

Workshop Activities

For Ages 3 – 5: Fabric Scraps Artwork on Unused Drawstring Bags

Young children will engage in sensory, open-ended play by transforming colourful fabric scraps into personalised art on repurposed drawstring bags.

For Ages 6 – 12: Fabric Twine Friendship Bracelets

Older kids will learn simple braiding techniques to create unique friendship bracelets from upcycled fabric twine, blending creativity with environmental awareness.
