Drop by the digital art commission Let’s Chat Further (2025) and chit-chat with artist Amanda Heng. Inspired by her iconic project Let’s Chat (1996), which is part of the National Collection, Let’s Chat Further (2025) sees Heng engage with visitors in conversations about “What is Contemporary Art in Singapore?” Less about defining art through an academic lens, these conversations are about holding an everyday space for us to come together and connect with others who are curious about art. Learn about Heng’s lived experience as an artist in Singapore over the last 30 years and connect with other fellow participants who are curious about art.
The conversations will be recorded and contribute to a dataset that trains a digital avatar, Retired Singirl (2025) that Heng is collaboratively making with technologists, designers and you – the public.
