About the Artists

Hong Zhu An is a leading ink painter whose practice bridges the deep traditions of Chinese ink painting and calligraphy with contemporary artistic concerns. Trained in Shanghai and Sichuan, followed by a short sojourn in Sydney, he moved to Singapore in 1993. Since then, he has become one of the key figures in Singapore’s ink art scene and had represented Singapore at the 5th International Ink Painting Biennial of Shenzhen in 2006. A recipient of multiple accolades, his works are held in major institutional collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and National Gallery Singapore.

Hong Quan Bao is a Primary 3 student who has been painting with her father, Hong Zhu An, since the age of four. Her favourite subject to paint is…everything! She enjoys watching how paintings are made and learning new techniques. Creating art together with her father has been a joyful and meaningful part of her growing up, and she is happy to share her journey in this special father–daughter workshop.

洪祝安是当代水墨艺术的重要代表，他的创作在中国书法与水墨的深厚传统之间探寻当代的语言。他曾在上海和四川学习。短暂的居住悉尼后，于1993 年移居新加坡。此后，他成为新加坡水墨艺术领域的重要人物之一，并于2006年代表新加坡参加第五届深圳国际水墨双年展。洪祝安曾多次获得个展艺术奖项，其作品被多个国际重要机构收购，包括洛杉矶郡艺术博物馆、旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆、牛津阿什莫林博物馆与新加坡国家美术馆。

洪全宝是一名小学三年级的学生。受父亲洪铸安的影响，她从四岁起便拿起了画笔。对她而言，艺术创作不设边界——无论是何种题材，她都乐于尝试。通过观察与实践，她不断学习，精进技巧。与父亲并肩创作，是她成长路上一段充满温度且意义非凡的旅程。在这次特别的父女工作坊中，她希望与大家分享这段关于爱与艺术的学习经历。
