Behind every mask is a story. What will yours say? Find out as we explore Pop after Pop: Art around Us and create a mask that pops with your unique, colourful imagination, and boldness!
Inspired by David Medalla’s work and other Pop Art artists in this exhibition, participants will discover and be curious about what makes Pop Art, POP!
Led by artist-educator Samantha Tio, they will find out how artists during the Pop Art movement made bold artistic statements before creating their own unique mask using colour, imagery, and recycled materials as a powerful tool for self-expression.
The workshop culminates in a lively Mask March through the Gallery and Keppel Centre, where young artists can proudly showcase their creations and celebrate the joy of making art together.
