I learned to make art by myself at a very young age. I started making papercuts because I ran out of art supplies and started cutting any papers I could find—including worksheets from church!

As you observe the colours and patterns, what emotions do you feel? My work can be very colourful and vibrant because art gives me joy.

When creating papercuts, the papers that I cut away are called “offcuts.” These odd-shaped pieces add layers and textures to my work. Can you spot them in this space?
