Join acclaimed Indonesian artist Dolorosa Sinaga, featured in the exhibition Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise, for an exclusive hands-on workshop sculpting with aluminium foil.
An influential sculptor, educator, and activist, Sinaga's practice demonstrates how art, activism, everyday life, and community are inseparable. Through decades of making and teaching, she has championed art as a form of care, solidarity, and social engagement. Her work Fear No Power, which lends its title to the exhibition, embodies these enduring commitments.
In this artist-led workshop, participants will have the rare opportunity to engage directly with Sinaga and learn about her approach to art and activism. Use aluminium foil to create the artist’s signature feminine forms – dancers, mothers, and groups of women, and discover how artistic expressions can cultivate collective care and become a catalyst for social change.
