Ruby Jayaseelan collaborates with Sushma Soma to interrogate the potent themes of patriarchy and feminism through their bodies, interweaving and responding to the spaces and artworks of the art exhibitions: Diplomacy and Desire: Basoeki Abdullah in Singapore and Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise.
With traditional artforms in their bodies and experimental methodologies in their practice, they will channel the collective feminine wisdom and trauma, presenting raw and intuitive movement, dance, sound and music that shapes, guides and challenges audiences in their experience of the exhibitions.
