1. Joining and Renewing Membership

How do I become a Member?

You can apply online and make payment with your credit or debit card, or visit the Visitor Services counter located at B1.

Our Visitor Services counter operating hours are 10am–6pm (Sat–Thu) and 10am–9pm (Fri). Public holidays and Eves of public holidays will follow the operating hours on the day it falls on.


How do I renew my Membership?

We will send you a reminder when it is time to renew your membership. Renewal can be done online or at our membership services counter located at B1.


2. Types of annual membership

Individual – admits one person and a single login password will be issued.

Individual (concession) – admits one person. Full time students and senior citizens 60 years old and above are eligible.  

Joint – admits two people. Two membership cards will be issued and each cardholder can visit the Gallery independently. 

Family admits two people and up to three children (12 years and below). Two membership cards will be issued for parents. Each cardholder can visit the Gallery independently with up to 3 children. Ideal for families, additional benefits include priority access to Keppel Centre for Art Education, priority booking for family programmes and discounted tickets for paid family events.


3. Guest admission

How many guests can I bring in with me?

You can bring in as many guests as your membership type allows.

ie. ‘Family’ membership admits to both the Gallery Insider Members and up to three children.


4. What is your refund policy?

We regret that membership is not refundable.


5. Lost and replacement cards

What should I do if I lose my Membership card?

Please bring your identity card to our membership services counter at B1. We will replace your membership card at a cost of $5.

6. Using your membership

Can I lend my Membership card to my partner or a friend?

Only the named member may use their membership card. Membership cards should not be passed on to third parties for use and may be de-activated, if abuse of the card is suspected.


As a member, how can I find out about upcoming exhibitions and events?

We send out regular updates to Members with details of upcoming events, exhibitions and special offers. You can also log-in online to your account to access the information.

To receive these updates, please enter your email address when you log-in online for the first time or include this in the form when you purchase your membership at our Visitor Services counter.


7. Exhibitions

Do I need to pay for special exhibitions?

As a member you do not need to pay for admission to special exhibitions. Members receive free admission and priority access to all special exhibitions.


Do I need to book tickets for special exhibitions?

Our special exhibitions can be exceptionally popular. During peak times such as lunchtime and the weekend, we may ask members to collect a ticket for entry at a later time on the same day. The ticketing system aims to ensure your experience of the exhibition is not compromised due to over-crowding. In addition to guaranteeing the safety of all visitors, we also want to ensure you are not asked to wait in a queue for an excessive period of time.


I have just joined as a member and want to visit the special exhibition today. Is the membership valid straight away?

Yes, membership is valid from the moment you purchase it. If you have joined onsite, you will be given a membership card which can be used for immediate entry into the special exhibitions. If you have joined online, you will receive a confirmation email which you can print off and use as proof of membership. You can then collect your membership card from the Visitor Services counter when you arrive at the Gallery.


8. Member's Events

Are there any special events for Members?

We plan a variety of events each year specially for members. Additional event fees may apply and admission is subject to availability. We will send you Information on all these events beforehand or you can access the information when you log-in to your account.


9. Special Member offers

Do Members get special discounts in the shops and cafés?

Members receive discounts in all the Gallery’s cafés and shops, including our online store. You must register with an online account to receive your members’ discount on online purchases.


How do I find out about special offers?

Members will receive regular updates on exclusive offers and can also check the special offers online.
