What drives us to keep creating art and poetry in a city like Singapore? Can poetry actually change anything? Will our grandchildren live to see wild pangolins? Does anyone actually like fish soup?
Stephanie Dogfoot may not have all the answers to these questions, but she'll make sure we'll all have a great time finding out together. Join her for 30 minutes of spoken word poetry like you have never heard it before. Covering everything from growing up in 1990s Singapore to mynah bird mythology, to the dangerous etiquette of popiah parties, it's poetry that will have you laughing, crying and maybe re-evaluating your life.
Part of Funny Friday’s triumphant return to National Gallery Singapore, this session promises wit, laughter, and fresh takes on the festival theme “The Power in Us”—exploring identity, resilience and the everyday things that make us who we are.
