Gallery Insider Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Gallery Membership Card (“Card”) and other offers associated with the Gallery Membership Programme. Upon successful application, the Member will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. APPLICATION AND ISSUANCE OF THE GALLERY MEMBERSHIP CARD

1.1 Membership can be applied for online via the Gallery website or at the Gallery’s membership services counter. All information must be duly provided with full payment made before collection of the Card at the Gallery’s membership services counter. 

1.2 Valid identity cards must be presented at the point of purchase of each membership type (Individual, Joint and Family).   

1.3 The confirmation email and/or receipt must be presented at the Gallery’s membership services counter together with a valid identity card for proof of purchase before the Cards are issued.

1.4 Membership fee is non-refundable and the Gallery reserves the right to revoke the card and its privileges without refund if the card has been fraudulently issued, misused, stolen, tampered with or replaced.

2. TYPES OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

2.1 Individual Membership may be purchased by individuals. Full-time students with a valid student card, senior citizens 60 years and above, and special needs visitors are eligible for concessions on Individual Membership. Each individual member will be issued one card to enjoy special privileges such as:

 

2.2 Joint Membership is available for any two individuals who wish to purchase a joint membership. Joint members will each be issued one membership card. A joint member may visit the Gallery without the presence of the other joint member sharing the same membership. Joint members will enjoy the same privileges as an Individual Members, listed above.

2.3 Family Membership is applicable for a family of two adults and any three children (12 years old and below). Two cards registered under the parents’ name will be issued to the adults who may bring any 3 children (12 years and below) to enjoy special privileges such as:

 

3. CARD VALIDITY

3.1 Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and will expire on the date shown on the Card. Privileges will terminate upon the expiry of the membership. 

4. CARD RENEWAL

4.1 Membership renewal is available online or at the Gallery’s membership services counter one month before expiration and a new card will be issued. Membership will be considered as lapsed if not renewed by the expiry date and renewal fee will not be accorded. 

5. CHANGE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

5.1 Members are responsible for ensuring their details on their online account are updated in order to receive updates from the Gallery.

6. DAMAGED / LOST CARD

6.1 Members are responsible for their own Cards. If the Card is lost, stolen, damaged or used by any other person, a report must be made immediately at the Gallery’s membership services counter or by calling the membership hotline at 6697 9126 for a replacement. A replacement fee of $5 will be administered for every card lost.  If the lost or stolen card is recovered, please return it immediately.

6.2 Any modified card will not be accepted by the Gallery and/or other participating partners. 

7. USE OF THE CARD

7.1 Cards are non-transferable.

7.2 Please present the Card at the Gallery for museum admission and at participating partners’ outlets to enjoy discounts and benefits. 

8. PRIVILEGES OF CARD

8.1 Please log onto the Gallery’s website for a full list of member’s privileges and latest updates on membership discounts, promotions and activities.  

9. ONLINE MEMBERS PORTAL

9.1 Each member will automatically have an online members account created at the Gallery website. Please visit www.nationalgallery.sg/memberships for more information.

10. COLLECTION, USE AND/OR DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

10.1 The Gallery may collect, use and/or disclose members’ personal data in accordance with the consent obtained from the Member in the card application form.

11. DISCLAIMER

11.1 The Gallery reserves the right to vary, modify, add to or delete the terms and conditions and privileges relating to the membership and use of this card at any time without prior notice. The Gallery shall not be liable for any loss or damages due to its service providers and/or vendors.
